So happy to share this short video clip about our popular Custom Design Coffee Table Book with you. Many of our clients are calling to book a session to make their yearly photo album just like the one in the video. When I work with families, having an hour or two photo session is just a beginning of the whole procedure – I would say, it is a journey. At first, I would talk with the family about each family member, their lives and things happening around them – in addition to what to wear and where to shoot the session. Sometimes, we will have a few emails back and forth to make sure we are on the same page on what we get through the session. By the time the session is over, I will become (almost) a long time family friend… What I see, feel and learn about the family inspires me to create a beautiful photo book that tells their story including lots of laughs, tearful joy and / or glorious miracles captured through my lens. Then, I would carefully choose designs, colors, decorations and layouts to complete one of a kind photo album for the family. It usually contains 30 pages with at least 60 images from the session. The book is hand made by an amazing artisan with the highest quality material. I am proud to offer this amazing experience to our clients and feel so blessed to be part of the most precious moments of lives of the wonderful families.
I am so thrilled to share this video! Many of you were thinking of getting your portrait sessions this fall and were not sure how it goes in terms of meeting me on location and getting your pictures taken with somewhat a stranger! I wanted to share one or two sessions with you to show what happens during the fun session on location with me. The amazing videographer from HAF (hereafter film) produced the film for us. I have two sessions included within the short film of a family and a one year old boy. The pictures below are taken at the session! It is the perfect timing to get your beautiful family pictures done – I still have a few more sessions available this year – so please feel free to contact! Thanks so much for stopping by and enjoy the beautiful season!

I remember it was a cold saturday morning right after Halloween last year to be exact. The boy’s golden hair shone so beautifully by the rising sun. He freely ran around the back yard when I arrived. The parents wanted me to capture images of his usual morning to add to his annual photo book. Any 1 1/2 year old boy would never care for camera. He was determined to be busy with his own stuff. Even if I would ask him “Wow look! There is a spider!!!”, he would not care, as he spoke French (his family language was French). What is spider in French? Even the picture of him looking directly at me was taken by accident. At the end of the session, I was sweating and starving after all that chasing. -However, I loved every single second I was there. Because I knew what I was getting will be cherished forever by his parents. I think every parents on earth should take as many pictures of their kids as possible! Because the time flies… and the kids will grow… and these beautiful moments will fade if you don’t capture. Right? - Life is busy and it seems to be the same everyday, but we should not take any one day for granted. Just wanted to share a thought to remind you and myself – of how precious any one day can be in your heart. I will take more pictures of my boys tomorrow! I promise…

Had a fun session with these three children. It was a perfect Autumn afternoon with oh-so-blue sky and colorful leaves! Wanted to share few of my favorites before their gallery is open next week. Tara, I hope you enjoy these images during the weekend! I am so glad that we had the session this week.
