What a cutie!
Indeed it is the most beautiful time around here. I got to capture this gorgeous 18 month old, “R”. Honestly, I had not seen many EASY 18 month sessions like this relaxed + no cry! He or she would be running / hiding and photographers just try so hard to seize the moment. Yay! Lucky me! I’ve got the best baby + mom + dad! Even weather, too!

Yep! These are a few page samples of yellowhale REAL-LIFE DESIGN ALBUM. Some clients ask me if I can design their own picture book. - it is like a digital scrap book and is awesome. 8×10 flush mounted beautifully hand made album - same quality as our LIFESTYLE COFFEE TABLE BOOK. It also comes in a thick hard cover with custom design photo + title. I wish I can show you this coffee table book in person. - You will be suprized to see its amazing quality and workmanship! This book just came out beautifully and these page designs were saved as base templates for my future REMEMBERING PROJECT.
Each image shown here is one spread (2 pages). In other words, you are seeing four pages in a row.
This particular client had so much great photos (by herself) and poems and all (her own) that all the contents of this album is hers except layout design (by me). They live in overseas and asked me to come to have a session this fall. This album was to celebrate her first birthday by gathering over 200 pictures of her everyday lives from birth to first birthday party. Now she has a little sister, too!
I think it is so wonderful to have such a memory book because it contains real life of relatively longer period of time. And so many different location. Some of other project I had done are
“the family trip” - someone who lived overseas for two years gathered all pictures from the trip
“my first year” - I did so many of them…
“our date” - a couple who dated many years before their marriage. their first travel, many dinner, etc…
Custom design like these take so much effort and time and LOVE!!!!! No page is the same. Every page will be designed by all the pictures given. Each picture is enhanced in color, exposure and cropped by imaging expert. Hard copy pictures will be scanned professionally. The print and binding quality is state of art.
and by all means, if you do have lots of pictures yourself and are interested in having a nice qulity memory book, hey! you might be my next project. (Please note that only few projects can be accepted/year. I work on these only during the months of Jan~March.)

As we wished for long… Finally it is here. It smells nice, so fresh. I can run around with kids.
In fact, Eric kept running and running, I could not keep up with him. Gosh, he got so much bigger and stronger. Three-year-old is indeed a turning point. I should take more of his pictures before it is too late(?) ~ I can not find those cute little faces in him any more (scream!!!)
Anyway, it sure was fun. I love this beautiful season~
