Remember the tiny little newborn from last MAY? (see the previous post of his newborn images at http://www.yellowhaleblog.com/?p=215 ).
That baby became this beautiful 6 months old. It was even more joyful to meet with him again. He just melted my heart!!!

I can not wait to meet with him again when he turns one next year. The parents want to create a baby’s one year book which I am very excited about. See you soon sweetie~k
Awesome Three
How can I not love these awesome three kiddos. I met the family about two weeks ago and felt like I’d known them for long time right away. We ran up and down, in and out… and most of all, it was FUN! The first image is one of my favorites, and I am still finding more. (to be honest, I can not stop~). I adored the color scheme of the interior (no wonder the mom can design the coolest furniture herself! ) as much as I loved playing with them there. All were so beautiful!!!

I will definitely come back and post more images from the session. Love them!
This is what a session looks like~
Remember the images of these girls? I just have 10 min break from proofing this morning and wanted to share what a session looks like with their session images. When my clients call for booking a session, one of the most frequently asked questions is what to expect from a session. And my answer would be… this.I first come to the client’s house and quickly say hi and shake hands and pick out the best outfits (which usually is spread out on mom’s bed for me to go through for best pictures.) and girls get dressed while I check out the light on location. The whole thing takes about 10-15 minutes. What you see here shows what usually happens from start to end - they are shown in order I took them. It is usually great fun for the kids and takes about 1.5 hours! I would start with the little one and family and older one and sibling together… any great moments will not be missed along the way. and go one more round as long as everyone is still(?) happy.
Depend on what are the clients’ most interest, for examples, if it is wall gallery, coffee table book, digital files, storyboards, or holiday cards, the content may be little different, but usually we end up getting 30-50 beautiful images from a session. Sorry for the small sizes of the images, but I wanted to show all as a big picture. Again, I LOVE what I do and I feel so blessed to meet and capture so many loving families around DC area.If you are thinking about booking a session and have any question, please feel free to contact me at kyung@yellowhale.com or call me.
“C” for cutie pie
Isn’t she something? I had this hat - not that I have any girl, but always loved shopping for girls - for a while and found the perfect fit! This session was done about two weeks ago when there were sessions everyday. I love taking pictures of babies when they can sit up straight and not crawling yet. It is the perfect timing to capture their beautiful (almost last stage of ) baby stage. If you are a mom of 6 months olds, I would really like to recommend to take as many pictures as possible. Once their mobility takes off, there is NO turning back!!! - it will be very hard getting images you want (your child looking at the camera and smile kind of shots) for a whi~~~~~~le.Baby “C” was a delight to work with and these sweet images will melt everyone’s heart.I am almost behind the schedule this holiday season. I would love to share and write more here, but right now it seems to be such a luxury. I will get back on those lovely images after this craziness.- I promise!
